Standing In The Way Of Control

Just when I thought the disco-dance-punk sound had been played out(with the exception of Toronto's controller.controller), I find myself bowled over by The Gossip's "Standing In The Way Of Control", mostly because of the super, awesome, soulful vocals of lead singer Beth Ditto. Check the song out for yourself(if you haven't already) and download the mp3(courtesy of Kill Rock Stars). Their third album "Standing In The Way of Control" will be released through Kill Rock Stars on January 24th. (Yeah third album...I'm late on this 'band'-wagon, but better late than never.)
