- Television: I've been watching The Grammys for most of the evening. So far it hasn't been a total bore. Highlights so far have included:
- The White Stripes performing 'Seven Nation Army' which merged into some blues-punk freakout. [Beck introduced the performance.]
- Sting performing 'Roxanne' with guest ragga-vocals from Sean Paul. Watching the performance only made me realize that Sting's current music is so lame compared to his work when he was with The Police.
- Foo Fighters performing 'Times Like These' with Chick Corea on piano.
- Coldplay wins with 'Clocks' for Record of the Year.
- Christina Aguilera's dress...or lack of. ;-)
- DVD/VIDEO:
-
The Walmart near me has the DVD 'So Close' for about $25.00 which is the lowest price I've seen it for. I'm considering picking it up sometime. There's something about beautiful women who can kick ass(eg. Sarah Michelle Gellar from 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer', Jennifer Garner in 'Alias', Zhang Ziyi from 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon') which is really sexy. :-) - Purchased today at Sunrise Records(2 videos for $10):
- Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
- Daft Punk - D.A.F.T.: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes
- Purchased today at MusicWorld:
